Praça da Estrela

Upper terminus of Elevador da Estrela located in front of the Basílica da Estrela. Cable car #1 is being pushed onto the turntable located at the terminus. Another unknown cable car is partially visible ready to head back to Praça Luis de Camões. Noteworthy is the fact that at this time Portugal had left-hand traffic.
An open 2-axle Brill car can be seen passing by. Which indicates that the photo was taken between 1901 and 1913.

Praça Luís de Camões

Cable car #1 turning around on Praça Luís de Camões to head back to Estrela. Noteworthy the fact that at this time Portugal had left-hand traffic.

In the lower right corner tram tracks along Rua da Misericórdia can be seen.
