Tervuren
Excursion

A tour with the American P.C.C. that has been on trial in Belgium. As a result, the Belgian tram industry bought a license for P.C.C. vehicles, which was valid for the then Western Europe. Colour photos of this tram have never appeared. The tram was painted green.
In the background, you can see part of the Tervuren — Brussels suburban train which like the tram line was later to be closed. A part of the route was recuperated many years later for the Brussels tram line 39.

Tervuren
Excursion

There is no notification on the back of the photo.
An excursion on 16/04/1950 is known and probably the photograph was taken on that day as well. As the excursion took place on the route Leuven — Tervuren at that time and there are some people walking around who are clearly not passengers and also the terminus is clearly visible, it is reasonable to assume that the photo was taken in Tervuren on that day.

Coast TramHistorical photos — Electric tramway (other types of tram)

Oostende, Koningsstraat
Route 2

In 1947 an American P.C.C. was introduced in Belgium and has been tested at several places.
The tram also spent a short time on the coastline and coincidentally there is also a postcard of it.
There are no colour pictures of this tram, but the scheme is known and is the same as Washington.

As a bonus, there is also a city tram in the picture.

Postcard of my own collection, edited by Ern. Thill, Brussels.
