The Loop Trolley Depot

A 1992-built replica of a Portland (OR) type 1903 Brill tram is ready to roll.
The tram awaits system's opening which was postponed multiple times.
At the time of the visit the project was already 1-3 years behind schedule.
There will be another 15 months before this tram will carry passengers.

Репликар 1992-го г. производства трамвая Brill портлендского (Орегон) типа 1903 г. к выходу готов.
Вагон ожидает открытия сети, которое задерживалось несколько раз.
На момент визита проект трамвая уже задерживался на 1-3 года.
Данный трамвай повезёт пассажиров только через 15 месяцев.

Ex-Portland 511 & 512 under refurbishment by the original manufacturer at Gomaco Trolley Co. prior to delivery to The Loop Trolley, St. Louis.
The trams are Brill 1903 replicas built in 1991-1992.
The refurbishment includes installation of handicap lifts.

2 of the 4 replica 1903 Brill cars built by Gomaco in 1991-1992, which formerly operated heritage service in Portland between 1991–2014, were acquired for the use on the St-Louis Loop Trolley.
Joe Edwards is a business man and investor from Delmar Loop, a primary force behind The Loop Trolley development.
