The promenade had been broken up and not yet rebuilt: all the obstacles that prevented photographing had been removed and, theoretically, pedestrians were not allowed there either.

Coast Tram — Miscellaneous photos

Middelkerke, Zeedijk

Car traffic was not yet permitted at the time of taking photos. Cars would therefore not be able to obstruct the photographer. A cleaning machine did, although it did illustrate exactly what was going on: the road was cleared after a violent storm.
