Да, дверь неавтоматическая и была закрыта даже во время стоянки. Вероятно, ПДД Германии запрещают перевозку людей в прицепе, поэтому он полдня катался пустым и потом был отцеплен http://transphoto.ru/photo/843821.

Вроде уже нет, так как я читал об их современном производителе прицепов.

Автобусные прицепы в Германии используются на регулярных перевозках. Лично ездил в прошлом году вот на таком:
