Only one trolleybus remain in service? :(

Yes only one remain - 2421. The lines 108 and 308 which require 2 trolleybuses at working day are now serviced by 2421 and one electric bus. :(

Actually some good news, since today, Škoda 24Tr Irisbus Citybus 2419 is back on line.

Haskovo remain the only city from BG without any plans to renew the trolleybus fleet? Burgas can sell them 2-3 Trollinos, but I don't believe this could happen.

For now only plans that mayor and local government have are buying more electric buses for the lines executed by diesel buses. Officially they are not replacement for the trolleybus lines. No plans for trolleybus network or trolleybus fleet renewal.

Great idea about buying from Burgas or even Stara Zagora. They have more trolleybuses than they need, but I also don't believe this could happen.

As I mention above no such plans. Officials said, lately arrived 6 electric buses are for lines 2, 3 and 5. The trolleybus company already use 5 electric buses Golden Dragon for lines 1 and 4. There are plans for buying 3 more electric buses in future. Again officially said for replacing only bus lines. But with the current fleet, I can see those electric buses replacing trolleybuses on lines 108 and 308 in near future if an investment in renewal is not done.

What about 2420 (that was in accident 4 months ago) and 2423, and two Škoda 14Tr's №1011 and 1012?

I don't have information what would happen with 2420. The crash was in the beginning of March, till then it was on line every day.
2423 hasn't been on line since May 2023.
Both Skoda 14Tr's are parked at the depot on the same place since April/May 2021. They meant to be a backup for newer vehicles, but now when the town have need of trolleybuses they don't use them at all. :(
