They have somewhat cleaned up this storage yard. However, the trams in this photo still are not used in service.

Trams 244, 684, 247 are still in the same spot as 10 months ago:

In addition, 280 on the rightmost track has been moved, with 252-1 behind it pulled out! Then 280 was put back in place, compare with these photos from 2023:

From this 2024 photo it is clearly visible, that while 244, 684, 247, 280 are in long term storage, the tracks in front of these cars are clearly used, since the dirt is visibly disturbed. Probably for short term operations storage and layovers. A clear indication that Route 5 is coming back to life.

Tram 252-1 is last regular tram of line 5 (red roof like all other there). So in some days all other trams go to Gariahat Depot, but 252-1 stayed in Shyambazar. I think, that this tram used this tracks in time of no service. The four trams in background are out of service and used for accomodation (people life inside), so they dont use the rails.
