Operating a Blue Line service departs Americas Plaza station.
Sand Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is a four-line light rail system covering 62 stations. The blue line runs from southern terminus San Ysidro Transit Center station to a northern terminus Old Town Transit Center station. The Blue Line also serves San Diego’s iconic ‘Santa Fe Depot’ railway station with cross platform connections to North County and Amtrak rail services.
MTS operates a fleet of 45 Siemens S700 vehciles. The S700 is an updated version of the S70 vehicle which MTS operates 76 vehicles. The S700s were delivered from 2019.
