Parlour Ltd., Other contributor Trolleybus — Leyland Farmers Free Bus No.1. A trolley bus with a green and white body. Chassis: Leyland Trolleybus (UK). Equipment: Metropolitan Vickers (UK). Bodywork: Wooden body built by DSC & Cousins & Cousins (Auckland) at ATB Royal Oak workshops after factory burnt down destroying first four wooden bodies, 37 seats. In service: 1938-1967. Of four built for Farmers Free Bus service, 4 survivors [THS No.4 <C>, WTM No.2 <C>]. Electrical equipment: Metropolitan Vickers Motor: 95 hp MV 206A Running voltage: 550-600 volts DC, supplied by overhead wires. Controller: 10 notch non-automatic acceleration with 2-stage rheostatic braking and 7-stage regenerative braking.

The Auckland Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) trams collection usually receives most of the attention due to the heritage line that is operated at the museum. The trolleybus collection had not been covered at Transphoto up until today.
