After more than 100 years, the route number 8 disappeared (temporarily) and services were taken over by route 4. Only the route number changed, but it still was an occasion for an spontaneous celebration on the very last journey.
Delivered in Ghent on 01/06/1999 for publicity and electoral reasons and presented there a few days later. The tram was transported to Antwerp 2 weeks later. This tram was never used in Ghent.
