What it like about San Francisco trolley buses in past is that they are not just an electric version of buses, like now. They have absolutely distinct design.

Что мне нравится в троллейбуса Сан-Франциско это то что они выглядят так что с автобусом не спутаешь. Раньше так было теперь там троллейбусы просто рогофицированные версии автобусов

Actually, MUNI had exactly those New Flyer also as Diesel version in the 1990ies (retired until 2007) 56 rigid New Flyer D40 and 24 articulated New Flyer D60 - so they were also just a electric version of buses.
