At the time of publishing cars of the 500 class were practically retired.
Car 504 will be scrapped in 02.2019.

Built by Ōsaka Sharyō Kōgyō for Ōsaka in 1956 using components of older trams; rebuilt by Naniwa Kōki into 800 class before transfer to Kagoshima in 1968-69; rebuilt by Aruna Kōki into 9500 class in 1995. Cars 9501 and 9502 out of 15 in this class feature a more round-shaped AC box on the roof.
