Excellent photo!
A relic of the Atlantic Wall can be seen here: these are bunkers built by Germans in WW II to respond to attacks from the sea (especially from the United Kingdom). This had 2 goals: defending their own lines and also the strategically important ports of Ostend and Zeebrugge.

We have similiar bunkers remaining in our catalan coast as Republican's defence means from Franco's National Troops attacks during Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Everyone could see any of them when he goes by train to Barcelona via the coast.

Thank you!
We also took a closer look at the bunkers. We were amazed at how much of it is still there.

I'll be honest. Similar "monuments" can also be found in Raversijde and everybody must have seen them there and maybe combined them with a tram.
This one has escaped me so far, also on excursions. Organising tours along the coast has never been an easy job and photo stops even less, but I will definitely remember this place, because it will be useful in the future. Ideal and original place to combine with a museum tram.
Thank you again to share this photo!
