How do you know that "Trolleybus has no VIN"? And where have you seen the "official description"? Apparently more exact just to say: We didn't see the factory plate. Even not sure it exists. So VIN is unknown.
So as far as I understand you happened to see the factory plate with your own eyes. Can you confirm the plate was still original after numerous vehicle transfers? The same with customs data - it's only derivative papers according to data provided by importer. Do you have an access to the original manufacturer's documents when the vehicle left the manufacturer's works?
Thanks. I believe our short investigation will help to close the issue in question :)

First of all, the big question is whether we can consider this product to be a trolleybus :) The documents that the importer submits must refer to something. The second point is that the officer, when checking identification numbers, must make sure that the identification numbers on the body coincide with what is indicated in the documents.
So the factory plate tells us nothing about VIN. Only the original manufacturer's documents when the vehicle was leaving the manufacturer's assembling works can clarify finally either the vehicle was assigned VIN and if yes what VIN actually was. Thanks.

It tells that this vehicle has no VIN code.

Any identification number which is specified in the factory documents must be confirmed by a nameplate and stamped on the body. As we can see, the VIN code on the name plate is missing.

That's just play on words. Look for the original manufacturer's documents if you want to dig up the truth :)

Even if some set of numbers and letters will be indicated in documents issued by the plant - it will not be valid without confirmation on the plate and the body.

We've already known the actual current state thanks to Jan de Vu. Now we are looking for originals of the vehicle. Should you really needed to be explained how often factory plates may be replaced or removed :)
Thanks. Will be waiting if someone would be able to reveal the original (stress here) manufacturer's documents.

Factory plate original.

This is impossible because there is no such documents. LiAZ never sold trolleybus "ЛиАЗ-6236". So you can wait for it forever :)

You've made me a day :) Do you really believe any details of the manufacturer's business can stay traceless in the world of financiers, auditors and taxers? The question is either anybody wants to find out the needed info. Thanks :)

The real world is somewhat more complicated than the ideal world :)
P.S If it is impossible to read between the lines, then I will say more directly - LiAZ did not sell the trolleybus, LiAZ sold two body sections :)
What you searching? This khm... trolleybus acquired by Chelyapin and company (Google "Челяпин ЛАЗ") in order to resell. After arriving in Ukraine the trolleybus received a certificate UA 1.193.0076509-15 "ТРОЛЕЙБУС LIAZ 6236 , Б/К" in which the manufacturer is specified "'ЛИКИНСКИЙ АВТОБУСНЫЙ ЗАВОД', РОСIЙСЬКА ФЕДЕРАЦIЯ" But LiAZ did not manufacture this trolleybus, he sold the parts with numbers 001 and 002. So this vehicle do not have a VIN code, but this vehicle has a document that it is a trolleybus with two section numbers :)) Everything is very simple.
