Dallas, American 4-axle motor car # 416

Operator/Facility:Dallas Railway & Terminal Co.
Model:American 4-axle motor car
Built:1914
Current state:Withdrawn
Purpose:Passenger vehicle
Closed 26' 6" body. Length overall: 40' 6". Trucks: Brill 39E1. Stone & Webster roof. Double-end car.
American Car Co. order #1019.

Note. American Car Co. order list by Harold E. Cox shows only 15 cars for the order #1019, numbered 420–434. However, factory photos of a car numbered 416 were published in the Brill magazine (vol. 9, pp. 54–57) in 1915. Article claims the car belongs to the 35-car order for Dallas, delivered lately. Thus, existence of the group 400–419 is presumed, but not entirely confirmed.
