В новогоднюю ночь с 31.12.2023 на 01.01.2024 круглосуточно работают:
» линии метрополитена M1, M2, M3, M4;
» ряд автобусных маршрутов;
» трамвайные маршруты № 4, 6, 14, 47, 50, 56A;
» трамвайный маршрут № 17 по изменённой трассе: Bécsi út — Városház tér;
» троллейбусный маршрут № 80 по изменённой трассе: Örs vezér tere — Blaha Lujza tér;
» линии BHÉV H5, H7, H8;
» линия BHÉV H6 (два отправления за ночь);
» линия BHÉV H9 только на участке Cinkota — Csömör.

Завершена реконструкция линии M3 метрополитена. Открыты станции Nagyvárad tér и Lehel tér. Поезда следуют по полному маршруту и с остановками по всем пунктам.

Budapest transport authority BKK has placed a firm order for a further 31 CAF Urbos 3 trams.
The latest order covers 26 five-section trams 34 m long and 5 nine-section 56 m long trams.

Last day of operation for Ikarus 435.81 and Gräf & Stift NGE152 trolleybuses.

Due to energy conservation reasons, the cog-wheel railway will not operated for an indefinite period.

New trams entered revenue service after four years. The second delivery of CAF Urbos 3 trams during 2020-2021 will consist of 5 pcs 56-metre and 21 pcs 34-metre cars. The first four cars to enter service of this second batch were 2113, 2114, 2115 and 2116. According to the contract, in 2021 there will be a total of 17 long and 55 short CAF Urbos 3 trams in Budapest.

Поступили первые два троллейбуса Solaris Trollino IV: один 12-метровый, второй 18-метровый сочленённый.

The last Soviet-built original metro trains of the 81-717.2 type are retired. The so-called "Blue Metro" is now history. The last trainset will leave Hungary by April, 17th.

Opening of the rehabbed segment of tramway south of the Bécsi út Stop, along with the new segment between Batthyány tér & Margit híd.

27 lutego 2015 r.

Началось тестовое движение трамваев через новый мост Rákóczi híd. Продление маршрута 1 по новой линии длиной 3,2 км. до Etele út / Fehérvári út планируется 09.03.2015. Впоследствии линия будет продлена до ж.д. станции Kelenföld.

Открытие линии метрополитена М4. На линию вышли поезда новой модели Alstom AM4-M4.

Завершение линейной эксплуатации троллейбусов ЗиУ-682УВ, работающих с 1975 г. Две машины будут оставлены для музея.
