By the end of 2026, 46 new trolleybuses will be delivered to Esslingen. The Škoda Group won the contract.
These are the 32Tr and 33Tr models with the bodywork coming from the Czech manufacturer SOR.

12 solo and 34 articulated vehicles will be equipped with batteries for an autonomous run of 25 km.

The option for 15 more trolleybuses has already been partially confirmed: a further 6 (articulated) vehicles have already been firmly ordered, and the financing for these has also been secured.
