14.07.2023	Publication of tender for purchase of minimum 6, maximum 8 trams (18m) through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. 10.10.2023: contract was signed with Astra Vagoane Călători.
29.05.2023	Tram traffic on the main routes is suspended due to the start of the modernization of the tram infrastructure. The only routes that will continue to be operational are line 24 to Combinat endstation and line 25 to Lacu Sărat village, both with starting point from the Radu Negru Depot.
10.04.2022	Publication of tender for purchase of 2 trams (18m) through the Regional Operational Program, Priority Axis 4 of the REGIO Program 2014-2020. 31.08.2022: contract was signed with Astra Vagoane Călători. 07.11.2023: all trams were delivered.
27.02.2022	Publication of tender for purchase of 6 electric buses (10m) through the Regional Operational Program, Priority Axis 4 of the REGIO Program 2014-2020. 25.07.2022: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for ZTE Smart Auto buses). 2023: all electric buses were delivered.
25.09.2020	Publication of tender for purchase of 11 electric buses (10m) through the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration. 17.01.2022: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for ZTE Smart Auto buses). 11.08.2023: all electric buses were delivered.
