05.11.2024: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for ZTE Smart Auto buses). |

Publication of tender for purchase of 20 electric buses (16x6m + 4x9m) through the Regional Operational Program, Priority Axis 4 of the REGIO Program 2014-2020.
12.04.2023: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for King Long buses).
01.2024: all electric buses were delivered. |

Publication of tender for purchase of 21 electric buses (10m) through the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration.
23.12.2021: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for ZTE Smart Auto buses).
07.2023: all electric buses were delivered. |

Trolleybus operation will be officially suspended on 23.09.2019, due to financial problems. Since trolleybuses do not operate on weekends, their last day of operation was Friday, 20.09.2019. |
| 03.05.2018 |
An outer segment of the long interurban trolleybus line between Dumbrava Moara — Platforma Savinesti is closed due to low ridership. SC Troleibuzul began dismantling the overhead in the town of Savinesti to prevent possible theft of the wires.
