Knott's Berry Farm Cable Cars 1955-1979
In 1955, the San Franisco Municipal Railway sold former California St Cable Railroad cars 6, 17, 20, 43, 49, and 59 to Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, Orange County. Electric motors and chain drives were installed in the rear trucks. Cars ran under battery power, hauling visitors from the parking lot. The cars operated at Knott's until 1979.
